I create digital designs, illustrations, and mixed media works. I typically create several variations of the same concept until it feels developed, then I take notes and repeat the process a few more times. I sometimes emphasize previous mistakes if it adds to the piece more than if it was corrected.

My art often refers to pop culture and whimsy. I use a combination of digital and drawn media to create an atmosphere of undermined rules and light-heartedness. I reach for a contrast of idiosyncratic elements while still being a piece that could be seen as an over-marketed kitschy mass produced product.

My work is saturated with cliches, bright colors, and bad jokes. I want to question the forcefulness that comes out of deeper meanings and the superficial aesthetic appearance of design works.
